Happy for you

วันนึงนั่งคุยกับลูกสาวคนเล็กเรื่องทั่วๆไป พอดีนึกขึ้นได้เลยบอกลูกว่าเราจะไปดูคอนเสิร์ตเพราะหาบัตรคอนเสิร์ตของศิลปินที่เราชอบได้แล้ว ซึ่งลูกรู้ว่าแม่ชอบศิลปินคนนี้อยากไปดูคอนเสิร์ตและบัตรก็หายากมาก สิ่งที่ได้เห็นจากลูกคือ ดวงหน้าที่สว่างไสวตาเป็นประกายพร้อมกับยิ้มกว้างแล้วก็พูดออกมาว่า “Mommy!!!… I’m so happy for you!” สิ่งที่ลูกแสดงออกมาทำให้เราอึ้ง มันบริสุทธิ์มากๆ รู้สึกได้เลยว่าลูกดีใจกับเราจริงๆ เพราะลูกเองไม่ได้ชอบและเราก็ไม่ได้พาไปด้วย เลยเกิดคำถามกับตัวเองว่า แล้วเราหล่ะเราเคยรู้สึกยินดีกับใครอย่างจริงใจโดยที่ไม่ดึงเข้ามาเกี่ยวกับตัวเองแบบนี้บ้างหรือไม่ แล้วก็พบคำตอบที่แสนจะน่าตกใจคือ “ไม่เคย”

เมื่อคุณแม่จากไป ภาระกิจสำคัญอย่างหนึ่งที่ต้องทำคือ การจัดการกับข้าวของเครื่องใช้ของคุณแม่ ทั้งอุปกรณ์ต่างๆที่ใช้ในยามป่วยเช่น เตียงคนไข้ รถเข็น ของใช้สิ้นเปลืองทั้งหลาย เสื้อผ้า เครื่องใช้ทุกๆอย่าง รวมไปถึงจัดการเรื่องเอกสารทางราชการต่างๆ ซึ่งทำให้ได้เห็นความจริงเรื่องสมบัติอย่างชัดเจน ได้สัมผัสและรู้สึกถึงความรู้สึกที่ว่า ไม่มีอะไรเป็นของเราอย่างแท้จริง

กลับเมืองไทยคราวนี้ ไปเฝ้าคุณแม่ที่ป่วยจนกระทั่งคุณแม่จากไป อยู่ร่วมงานศพจนเสร็จสิ้นพิธีลอยอังคาร ได้เห็นความเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้นกับร่างกายคุณแม่ตลอดเวลาเกือบ 3 เดือน ทำให้ได้เห็นความจริงเกี่ยวกับร่างกายของคนเราได้อย่างที่ไม่เคยเห็นมาก่อน ที่สำคัญได้รู้สึกถึงความเปลี่ยนแปลงที่ไม่ว่าใครก็ควบคุมไม่ได้อย่างที่ไม่เคยรู้สึกมาก่อน
