วันนี้ไปซื้อของที่ supermarket ระหว่างเดินเลือกของผ่านช่องที่มีขนมหลากหลายที่แบ่งเป็นห่อเล็กๆสำหรับเทศกาลฮาโลวีน ก็นึกขึ้นมาได้ว่า คราวก่อนๆที่เราเดินทางมาอเมริกาซึ่งเป็นการเดินทางมาชั่วคราว ก่อนกลับเราจะต้องมาหาซื้อขนมพวกนี้กลับไทย เพราะเมื่อเอากลับไปทานแล้วมันอร่อยมาก ต่างจากของที่วางขายในเมืองไทย ดังนั้นเราจะซื้อกลับไปทีละมากๆ ทุกครั้ง แต่คราวนี้ เมื่อเรามาใช้ชีวิตอยู่ที่อเมริกาและเดินผ่านขนมเหล่านี้ เรากลับไม่รู้สึกอยากซื้อ ไม่รู้สึกอยากทาน และไม่ได้ซื้อกลับบ้านเลยซักชิ้น ในตอนนี้ สิ่งที่อร่อยมากสำหรับเราก็คือ น้ำพริกต่างๆ ที่เราเอามาจากเมืองไทย ขนมไทย หรือแม้แต่ขนมขบเคี้ยวของไทยที่เรานำมา ต้องค่อยๆทานเพราะกลัวหมดเร็ว ถ้าไปซื้อของที่ร้านจีน แล้วเห็นผลไม้ไทย เช่น มังคุด ทุเรียน มะม่วง ลิ้นจี่ จะอยากทานอยากซื้อมาก ทำไมถึงเป็นเช่นนั้นนะ
